For the little ones

The Aosta Valley is the ideal spot to easily entertain your kids in nature: some fresh air to breathe, many nice meadows to run and roll, a lot of snow to have fun, tame animals to look after, various paths to explore and, finally, some tasty snacks! And, at night, children will be so tired that they will completely forget about TV…

And if it rains? No worries, you will be spoilt for choice! You will be able to visit the charming castles of the Aosta Valley, learn with your kids how to be an artisan at the MAV–Museum of the Aosta Valley traditional craftworks, discover the starry sky at the Saint-Barthélemy Astronomic Observatory or become a climber with the little ones at the Fortress of Bard!

In winter

If you prefer winter mountains to have fun while skiing with your kids or to learn this discipline together with them, then choose our family-friendly ski resorts: Brusson, Chamois, Champorcher, Cogne, Gressoney-Saint-Jean, La Magdeleine, Rhêmes-Notre-Dame and Torgnon.

Here you can find easy, sunny and never too busy ski slopes, together with cheap skipasses and well-stocked rentals.

And if you don’t fancy skiing but you still love snow, you can have fun in one of our snowparks and discover our ice-skating rinks.

In summer

If you love summer mountains you can choose among our family-friendly destinations: Brusson, Champorcher, Cogne, Gressoney-Saint-Jean, Morgex, Rhêmes-Notre-Dame, Torgnon, Valpelline and Bionaz. Here you can find various paths to walk on, even with a pushchair, or some easy paths for your kids.

The most curious and the bravest kids can try the adventure parks or navigate the Dora river with an inflatable raft. But they can also learn how to ride a horse or how to milk, make butter or reap the rewards of the vegetable garden in an educational farm.
