And we should not forget that the Aosta Valley is also a true cross-country skiing paradise… a complete sport that is good both for your body and soul!

The Monterosa ski resort is characterised by the chance of skiing no stop in three valleys without taking your skis off: the Ayas Valley, the Gressoney Valley and the Valsesia in Piedmont.

Options are countless, both for beginners and experts. Here you can spend a really long day with your skis: in 8 hours you will discover always different ski slopes and unique and breath-taking views, right at the foot of one of the most charming (and 4,000 metres high!) peaks of the Alps.

All this with a unique skipass: what else?

Lying at the foot of the Matterhorn, one of the most famous 4,000-metres-high mountains in the world, the well-known town of Breuil-Cervinia has always been one of the unquestioned capitals of skiing.

This famous and enviable ski resort stretches from the 1,524 m of Valtournenche to the 3,883 m of the Klein Matterhorn, with more than 70 ski slopes and the chance of skiing in summer too.

And if it is not enough, from Breuil-Cervinia you can also reach by skiing the characteristic Swiss town of Zermatt, a spot that can’t be reached by car.

Easily reachable from the town centre of Aosta by gondola in 18 minutes only, Pila is the perfect destination for those who want both to ski and enjoy the services and opportunities of the city.

Privileged spot from which you can admire the highest peaks in Europe, Pila proposes perfectly prepared ski slopes and oxygenated snow.

But Pila also owns a funny snowpark suitable for everybody, from kids to adults, where you can try bob, sledges and snowtubing, and the challenging AreaEffe, conceived for snowboarders and free-stylers.

La Thuile

Ski lovers will surely know La Thuile because of the World Cup races on the famous Franco Berthod ski slope.

The Espace San Bernardo international ski resort, composed by the resorts of La Thuile, in the Aosta Valley, and La Rosière, in France, offers ski lovers more than 160 km of ski slopes, both for beginners and experts.

With a unique skipass one can test them all, ski both in Italy and France and enjoy perfect snow conditions on the Italian side and sunny and rolling versants on the French one.

Lying on the sunny side of Mont Blanc, Courmayeur is one of the main destinations of the Alps. Its ski slopes are suitable for beginners and experts and make everybody feel strong emotions thanks to the unique views over the highest peak of Europe. In addition to more than 100 km of slopes for Alpine and off-piste skiing, Courmayeur proposes also a baby club, an arva park with arva check points and a snowpark.

Dreamers will find in Courmayeur the chance of ascending to the Mont Blanc with Skyway Mont Blanc, the futuristic gondola that links the mankind to the mountains and the sky.
